After stripping the front sheet metal,
hood, fenders, inner fender wells, I began the installation of the Fatman
Mustang II crossmember, suing the provided directions....I left the front I-Beam
in order to mark the centerline of the front axle precisely on the frame. the
frame rails had to be boxed which was done first, as well as welding some braces
to maintain the alignment of the frame. This was the standard Fatman Mustang II
front assembly, not their ultra low setup, which would have required "Cing" the
underside of the front frame to provide the required clearance for the Mustang
II Rack and Pinion.
